When Wendy Centeno moved to Los Angeles at age 22, she
realized how much she missed the classic El Salvadorian dish,
Pupusas. She remembers watching in awe as her favorite tia
cooked up pupusas, selling them in the neighborhood to locals
and fans who travelled hours for a taste. Borrowing from this
aunt's recipes, Wendy now serves authentic style pupusas,
thick corn tortillas stuffed with a variety of fillings. From their
most popular revueltas or pork, beans, and cheese to their
vegan cashew cheese, soy chicharron, and beans, Vchos is
sure to have something for everyone.
